About Me

Hello there! I’m Shaun. My services include translation into English from French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Catalan, native English editing and proofreading, and linguistic consulting.

Experience

For over a decade, I’ve honed my skills in various linguistic fields, working as an in-house and freelance translator on a wide range of texts. My profession and passion have led me to live in France and Spain, and I’ve travelled to over 30 countries, absorbing the cultures and languages along the way.

Qualifications

I hold an MA in Translation (with Distinction), a BA in Modern Languages and Cultures, and a Diploma in Advanced French (Diplôme approfondi de langue française). Continual learning and improvement are integral to my approach. I’m always looking for ways to sharpen my skills, embrace new tools and technology, and stay updated on the latest industry developments.
